So I havent really gone anywhere but Jenson lost my memory card to my camera like 2 months ago and I just barely got a new one!

So I dont have very many pics as of now but one of my very best friends got married yesterday so I have a few pics from the day. I dont have any of Joey...sorry, its not like it was your day or anything :)! I have been friends with Nikki for 5 years and she has been dating Joey for 4 of the 5 years on and off. I have always just loved Joey and rooted for them to get married but Nikki just wanted to take her sweet time! She even went on a mission in the 4 years. Anyways I am so happy for them! They are perfect for eachother and we just love both of them so much!

Little Girl Twirls!

I am SO excited to start selling little girl dresses/skirts to match my ties! I have had so many requests and finally decided it was time to expand my little business! I couldnt do this without my very talented mother in law...thanks Marilyn! These are just the first of many more to come!

What we have been up to...

I have been SO busy with the tie making business I have had no time to sit down and let everyone know what we have been up to! So here are the updates...no pics today but I will have some soon!

Me- I have been sewing like crazy! My sister and I are trying to get this big boutique that we are putting on together ready...we have some GREAT vendors that are going to be there! I will post a list soon and details of when and where! I just started a little girl dress line to match my ties! Since I have been so busy with the ties my Mother in law is going to be sewing the dresses/skirts...which is great because she is seriously one of the greatest seamstress of all time...I kid you not! We are taking some professional pics of them tomorrow so hopefully I can post some pics of this week! Other than that I have just been being a mom and wife and loving it!

Brian- So Brian is one of the hardest working people I know and he proves over and over again! We are trying to get our condo ready to put up for sale this month and Every second Brian is home he is working on our condo to help get it ready! He just started school...full time...works...full time...and is a husband, father, and carpenter...full time! AND he never ever complains about it! I am so lucky that he is my husband...he is the best! He has about 2 more semesters til he gets his associates degree...I know, I know! But at least he is making progress right?! He turns 26 in a week! And that is pretty much it with him.

Jenson- Jenson is SO fun! He definitely keeps me on my toes all day! He is to the point where he tries to say what you tell him to...that has been so fun! He can be a handful sometimes though that is for sure! If he wants something and I wont let him have it...he tells me NO...or yells it :)! He is seriously the cutest little boy ever! I am totally biased I know!

So Jenson is in love with chrissy(our dog)old bed! But dont you worry because chrissy has never been fond of it so it technically has never been used...plus I say whatever entertains the kid is ok by me! He seriously can play in it for an hour! He likes to lay in it like a dog too! Here is the proof!

Oh and one more picture! What is Jenson holding you ask??? Yep its a dead dragonfly! Sick! That is right before he crumbled it in his hand too! Thanks grandpa for making sure my little boy is sure to experience little boy things...if it wasnt for you he wouldnt...at least the holding dead bugs thing!

Freakin' Appendix!!!

Seriously no one even knows why we have it! Its just there to make our lives difficult! So I guess you know what this is about! I had my freaking appendix out a week ago! It seriously was such a joke! On Tuesday night around 10 I was sitting at the computer and all of the sudden I got really sick to my stomach...almost like a burning pain. I took some pepto and it almost seemed to have gotten worse. Well obviously it didnt go away after about 2 hours of constant pain I decided that I should probably go to the ER. Brian called his dad and he came over around 12:30 to stay with Jens. So anyways, they ruled out everything else it could be, had me have a CT scan and then found out it was appendicitis. So they scheduled an emergency surgery and I survived! Ha! So the last week has been a little crazy! I was super sad I had to miss the 24th festivities...if you know me you know that and the 4th are my favorite holidays...so it was a bummer! But I am lucky to have such great family around to help me with Jens. Also great ward members to bring us dinner! I am pretty much better...still a little sore but the doc said that probably wont change for another week or more. I feel very lucky that it wasnt worse. Trust me I have heard horror stories about an appendix bursting and have always been afraid of that happening to me even before all of this. So there is the update! It was a sad one I know! Next time I will make a happy one!

We had an awesome 4th this year. On July 3rd we went to fireworks at Eaglewood with Brians brother Mike and his wife Karly, and my sister Crystal and her family. It was really fun! Jenson wasnt lovin it so much but he layed on me the whole time so I was ok with it! Then we went to the Centerville parade with the same people minus Mike and Karly. Then that night we went to Dougs(my bro in law) parents house and had a picnic and played a little badminton...Alicia and Kyle were with us! Then we went to Brians aunt house and they had about a million fireworks to light off so we were there til about 1130...way past Jensons bedtime! He layed on me again the whole time and would only let me hold him...which was totally cute and never happens and I loved it! So the bad news is I only took pics of the parade so I stole some of my sisters from her blog. So here we go with the pics...

So I decided that I am going to start selling them! I can pretty much make any size. I am going to sell them for $10 BUT right now I am going to do a special for $8. Jenson's first birthday!!!

Jenson turned 1 on June 1st and boy did we party!!! We had it at my grandpas farm and it was seriously SO much fun! Here are the highlights...

My aunt was nice enough to saddle up the horse so that the kids could ride it. Jenson did not really like it to much...

Pinata time!!! We ended up hitting the pinata in the barn...it was such a fun setting!

This is the cake that Crystal and I made...it rocked! The barn ended up falling off on the way to the farm which was so sad because that took Crystal forever to make...she made it out of little debbie cakes...can we say talent...

SO...here is the dealio! As you all know Brian now works for a bike store. So...well...now I have to have a bike and I really want this awesome beach cruiser!! Well everyone I tell about this amazing bike is like...WHY would you choose to get a beach cruiser and not a mountain bike...we live in Utah! Well here is the deal people...I will NEVER go mountain biking...I am too afraid!!! I am only going to cruise around town with the hubs so why not invest in a stylish cruiser, right?! Not to mention that it is totally cute, it also will be SO much more comfortable to ride then a mountain bike! SO...

News...From Us!

SO I know I have been the worst at updating my blog lately...so sorry! The problem is that I forget to take my camera places so I have no pictures...I really need to be better about that!

So things have been really great around here! Brian is LOVING his new job working for my Brother in law at Masherz...they just moved to redwood road and about 500 south in Woods Cross...so if you are in the area go check it out...its a really great place!

Brian finished up with school for the semester the beginning of April so he has had more free time then he has had in a few years...not a owning a business has been amazing!

We are headed to Colorado Springs in 2 weeks for some training for Brians new job...we will be there for 2 weeks! I am kind of sad to be leaving home and sleeping in a Hotel for that long but very grateful that my brother in law is letting me go with him! I dont know what I would do without Brian for that long!

Oh some good news...Me, my sister Crystal, and my mom are going to San Francisco the second weekend in June to see WICKED and just have a girls weekend! I am so excited I can barely stand it! Crystal tried to get us tickets for Wicked for Christmas and even stood in line at 4 in the morning and still didnt get them so we are SO excited to be able to go...I hear it is amazing!

Jenson is doing great! He will be 1 a month from today! I cant believe how fast time flys by! He is such a sweetheart and I cant imagine our family without him! Well that is all with us I will try to get some pictures on here soon!

First Easter...

This was Jensons very first Easter and it was so fun! Come to find out any holiday is way better with a baby! First we went to my sisters for breakfast which was so fun! My mom was in town which is always fun and Crystal and her gave Jenson an awsome Easter basket full of fun books and toys...thanks you guys you are the best! Then we went to church which was extra great today even with a crazy 10 month old that wouldnt sit still! Then later we went to dinner at Brians Grandmas house with most of his family there. All is all we had a great day! Hope you all did too!

I was laughing so hard and Brian was so mad...like really I hardly ever see him that mad! So needless to say he had to find another shirt to wear and made us about fifteen minutes later to church. Good times!

Jenson has such a great personality! He cant resist a camera...he is such a ham. Whenever I say cheese and the red light comes on the camera he is totally cheesing it! Even if he is mad and crying he will stop just to smile for the camera...it is hilarious!!! So here is some pictures of this stinkin cute kid who I absolutly cant get enough of!!! Bored and Lazy!

So on Tuesdays Brians mom takes Jenson for a few hours just because she wants to and it gives me a little break. Well I feel extremely lazy! I mean I am a stay at home mom and I am taking my child to his grandmas so that I can have break...what kind of mother am I?! I feel like I am not entitled to a break during the day. I guess that I should consider myself lucky right?! Well I guess my feelings are that Jenson is my life and I have him all day and mostly all night because Brian is in school and working full time so when he is home he is doing homework...except for the hour that I get to go the gym. So when I leave him I just feel like a part of me is missing. So right now I am sitting hear watching the time pass by til I get to go and pick him up! THEN...he takes a nap...so I will have 2 more hours to spare...I guess I will do some spring cleaning...Boring!!! Well anyways, just thought I would write down some thoughts because I am bored! I know I have been slow in the blogging world so I will posts some pictures soon...I just have to take some first!

That I have!! I am so excited! Since he has had hair I have been spiking it and I noticed as it has become longer it has curls! So today I decided to see how curly it is and put some styling glue in it and it is SO curly and I LOVE it! I have always wanted my kids to have curly hair like mine. So here are some pics I took of the curls...you may have a hard time seeing because his hair is so blonde...but you can sort of get the point.

you ask? It sure has been a long time since I have updated our blog. The problem has been our new...yes new...computer has had a hard time reading our memory stick from our camera and we no longer have the cord that hooks up from our camera to our computer was in the bag that our laptop was in when it was stolen! So yeah today I decided to try it to see if it would work and sure enough...no problems! So here is an update on the last month or so...get ready for the picture overload!

Earlier this month my sister and I and Jack and Jenson went to Boise to help my mom out after she had surgery. It was so fun to get away on a mini vacation!

This was Jensons first plane ride! When the plane took off he couldnt quit smiling! He thought it was awesome!

Luckily on the way there the plane wasnt full so Jack and Jenson got to share the middle seat together! We werent so lucky on the way back!

Jenson had his wellness checkup last week...he was 7 1/2 months old. Here are the stats...

Weight: 19 pounds 6 ounces - 51%
Height: 28 inches - 65%
I cant remember his exact head circumference but it was in the 80% - his head is huge!

Jenson is so much fun! He has started pulling himself up onto everything. He falls like 500 times a day and gets hurt because he is still a bit wobbly while standing. He gives kisses and high fives now. It amazes me all that a baby can learn. We love him so much and are so excited to watch him get older. He is such a huge blessing in our lives!

New Job!!!

Brian got a new job working for my brother in laws business called Masherz. As of now he sells bike parts online but decided it was time to expand so he got a bigger warehouse in Woods Cross and will be moving there in April and will add a bigger store front and a bike repair shop. Brian will be over retail sales and bike repair. We are so excited and feel so blessed for this great career opportunity that we have been praying for! He starts on March 1st and Masherz moves to its new location in April. What is happening with Brians business you ask??? Well his friend decided that he wanted to buy it from him! NO MORE SELF EMPLOYMENT! I am so excited! If you have ever owned a business before you understand how hard and stressful it is especially when you are trying to go to school! This will be great for Brian to get through school a bit faster. Anyways there is our exciting news! Thank you so much Doug for offering Brian this job and putting your trust in him!

Oh and Jenson started crawling just after the new year so that has been fun...and crazy all at once...I can barely keep up with him! He will be 8 months in a few weeks...where did the time go???

Sorry it has taken so long to post this. We have all been sick since Christmas..no fun! Christmas this year was so much fun with a baby! Even though Jenson didnt get it and all he cared about was the paper, is was so much fun giving him presents for some reason! We woke up at 8 and opened presents at our house then we went to my sisters and opened presents with my family...where Jenson totally hit the motherload thanks to my sister and my mom! Then we went to Brians parents and opened presents with them...where again Jenson was completely spoiled! It was so much fun! He has so many people that just love him to death and had so much fun with him on Christmas. Hope everyone had a great Christmas also!

Mike(Brians brother) and Karly are officially engaged and we are so excited about it! We absolutely love her! She is perfect for him! Well they are perfect for eachother! Mike just adores her...I think that it is so cute! Karly is so sweet and loves everything about him and would do anything for him! Sorry these pictures are so late. There isnt much going on with us lately too exciting. Jenson is six months old now and has 2 bottom teeth...so cute! We had a really great Thanksgiving...we spent it with my dads side of the family at my aunts house. It was really fun to see her...I used to live with her before I got married and then Brian and I lived in her basement apartment for the first six months of our marriage and she moved to Idaho after we bought our condo so I miss her and was really happy to see her! Anyways, here are some updated pictures of the last month...

This was our turkey...It was 33 pounds! My grandpa is a farmer and has a friend who raises some of the biggest turkeys in utah and gave one to my grandpa. It was the best turkey I think I have ever had...and to be honest I am not a huge turkey fan.

Well since yesterday was Thanksgiving I just wanted to express how thankful I am for my life!

I seriously have the best life ever! I have an amazing family, great friends, the gospel, the best husband and baby! Oh the list just goes on and on! My life is far from perfect though thats for sure. I have been thinking a lot lately about what makes me/people happy. Ever since I have stayed home with Jenson, Brian and I have struggled with money and it has been very stressful! I have come to the conclusion that even though we have struggled so much lately I would not change it for the world! I love staying home with Jenson...he is my biggest accomplishment and greatest blessing. With that said I just want to say thanks to all of the support our family gives us! They seriously are the best! My sister is the best sister anyone could ask for! If I need to get out of the house she lets me just go hang with her...I even get a free lunch out of it every once and a while...ok more often than not:), if I need someone to talk to about anything she is always there to listen and give advice. I couldnt ask for a better sister! Honestly, I couldnt ask for a better family...on both sides! They are all so caring and so full of charity! I love them all so much! I have learned so much from them! I have so much to be thankful for but my family is at the top of my list...and the gospel because I wouldnt have the life I have without it!

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I would suggest if you havent already sat down and made a list(even just in your head) of everything you are thankful for or if you are having a rough time full of trials(which, lets face it most of us are, if not all) just think about all of your blessings and it always will out weigh your trials...by far! I love you all! Thanks for all you do for us!

My Dad...

This is my family at Crystals wedding 10 months before my dad passed away. He was only 43.

It has been 5 years since my dad passed away from cancer. I remember that day so well. My dad had been in the hospital and I had visited him the day before. It was a sunday and he just seemed like he was doing so well that day. He told me that he was hungry and he wanted me to go to the store and get him something to eat before I went back to Orem. I was going to Utah Valley at the time. So I went to Albertsons and got him a blueberry muffin and an orange juice. I went back to the hospital and told him that I would see him the next weekend. I remember leaving and just crying uncontrolably even though I truly believed I would see him again in a week. The next day I went to school and when I got home I was going to go to the store with my roommate when my sister called and said that my dad probably wouldnt make it through the night. So I threw everything in a laundry hamper and headed home. When I got to the hospital my dad was completly different. He was so out of it I couldnt believe how different a day had made. So my family sat in his room while his friends came and went to say their goodbyes and then he passed away at 11:45.

It makes me sad that my dad was never able to meet Brian and be at our wedding and it makes me sad to know that he never got to meet Jenson and see him grow up. But I know that he is an angel watching over me and my family and I know that I will see him again. I love and miss you dad!

Can you believe it?! Jenson is 4 months old! We went to the doctor yesterday and he is healthy and growing! This is how much he has grown:

4 month check up:
Weight: 16 lb 0 oz- 67%
Height: 25.5 inches- 73%

2 month check up:
Weight: 12 lb 9 oz- 64%
Height: 24 inches- 85%

He has grown so much! We love him more and more everyday...I dont even know how that is possible! He is such a blessing in our lives! I cant imagine life without him! We love you Jens!

Thinking Christmas...

So, last year we raised over $1500 for an amazing family in need. Christmas wasn't a happy time for this family. The dad had just been laid off his job, they had a son in a treatment center which was costing them over $1000 a month, and they had to find a way to pay their mortgage. The results were humbling and unspeakable. This family was was so grateful and could not believe people could be so generous. It was such an incredible experience and if you were part of it, you know how amazing it really was.

Last year I committed to organize this each year from now on to give all of our friends and family an opportunity to help someone less fortunate so here I am, thinking about it. However, I need your help. Doug and I don't know anyone personally who could use the help this year. It needs to be someone or some family who would really, really appreciate it. Someone down on their luck, humble, kind. Are you catching the vision? So, we need suggestions. Please, talk to your families, neighbors, friends, church leaders, etc. and let's see if we can find a family who really needs the help. Maybe a family with a sick child and lots of medical bills, maybe we could pay some of their bills for them. It could be anyone.

If you weren't a part of our efforts last year and you want to be this year, please email me and let me know. We keep everyone updated on our efforts through email. It's an amazing thing and all you have to do to be a part of it is donate a small amount of money and maybe, possibly a little time, just depending.

"The Office" Parties

Before my brother in law Mike left on his mission he loved The Office and never missed a show so when he got home in July he had 2 years of The Office to catch up on. So we decided to have an "Office" Party once a week to get him all caught up! He is almost done with all 4 seasons now! Good thing since the new season starts tomorrow..cant wait! So today (it is midnight) is Brians 25th birthday...thats right our car insurance goes down and now when we go out of town we can rent a car...how exciting!!! So I thought it was only apropriate that I tell you 25 things I love about him. Ok here we go in no particular order...

1. I love how much he loves being a dad!
2. I love that when he gets home from work the first thing he does is washes his hands so that he can come and get Jenson!
3. I love how hard he works for his us! He is honestly one of the hardest working people I know.
4. I love how he always has to say I love you before he hangs up the phone with me!
5. I love how he would help anyone with anything...no questions asked!
6. I love that he wakes me up before he goes to work to give me a kiss goodbye!
7. I love how honest and caring he is!
8. I love that he has a strong testimony!
9. I love that he loves the gospel and is eager to share it with others!
10. I love that he finds good in everyone even if they have betrayed him!
11. I love that if I need him to do something for me like take out the garbage or anything really...he does it with a smile on his face and never complains!
12. I love that he never yells at me even if he is mad...he is great at comunicating!
13. I love that he cries with me if I am sad!
14. I love that he makes me laugh everyday!
15. I love that he knows everything about cars...even if he thinks I dont!
16. I love how loyal of a friend he is to others!
17. I love that if I havent talked to him all day he calls me or text me just to say hi and I love you!
18. I love that he is technically savy...he knows everything about computers and electronics!
19. I love that he can fix everything around the house and if he cant he will sit and try to figure it out for hours or until he can!
20. I love that if I am sick he will leave work to bring me chicken noodle soup or whatever I need!
21. I love that he will go out and do something with me even if he is to tired to from a long day of work!
22. I love that he is so loving to his siblings and parents and would absolutely do anything for them!
23. I love that he is him self and could care less what other people think about him!
24. I love how he loves to show Jenson off to people and just gets a huge smile on his face while doing it!
25. I love how safe I feel when I am around him!

After Jens and I spent pretty much all last week sick in bed with a pretty harsh cold we decided to go to the Utah State Fair on Friday with Alicia and Kyle since we were feeling better. We had a blast even though Kyle made us go see this lame magic show that was dreadful to watch! Luckily Jenson had an issue and we didnt have any wipes with us so we had to go home and had to miss the rest of the show! We always have so much fun with Alicia and Kyle...they are our type of peeps!

So this weekend we went to Rupert Idaho to see my Grandmas new house and my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. It was so fun to see them all. We always have a blast everytime we go there. My Uncle just built my gramdmas new house and it is truly amazing. Its totally decked out! We got to go to Twin falls and see the new temple and we also got to go see Shoshone falls. Traveling with a baby was a little bit of a struggle though I must say. The first night we were there he didnt sleep very well at all! So we were super tired the rest of the time we were there but it was worth it. I just love my grandma and it was so fun to spend time with her. Her are some pics from our fun little get away!

So Jenson is teething??? It cant be...he is only three months old! I dont know if I will believe it until I actually see a tooth but he has all the symptoms...he drools a ton, he has a runny nose, he is super fussy, ect ect. I guess it can happen I actually know someone whos daughter was born with 2 front teeth...creepy I know! Well I guess that Jenson has always been a little ahead of the game...I mean the kid was holding his head up in the hospital for goodness sakes! Crystal says that he was pretty much born a three month old. Even though he has been more fussy than usual he is still happy little Jenson. He started laughing yesterday...it is pretty dang cute!

New Computer

So last week somebody stole our laptop right out of Brians car while it was sitting in our driveway. I was freaking out because all of the pictures I had ever taken of Jenson were on it! Then Brian reminded me that a good portion of them were either on my blog or my facebook page so that was definitely a sigh of relief! Also Brian uses the laptop for his business so all of his invoicing was on it fortunatly most of it was saved on a USB drive so lucky for us the situation could have been much worse. So that night we went and got a computer for our house and his business! I love it! It is way nicer then our old laptop ever was.

This week would have been the first week that I would have been back at work. I am so excited that I am going to be able to be a stay at home mom! I love staying home with Jenson. He really is my life and I love being a mom more then anything! I am so grateful for my husband and all the hard work that he does for our family. So that is my good news for the week. Jenson is getting so big! He smiles all of the time and talks too(well you know baby talk). Brian is getting ready to go back to school and is working hard to make his business grow. I am just changing diapers, feeding Jenson, trying to keep my house clean and working out trying to lose the extra baby weight plus some! Well thats whats up with us...more to come!

A Weekend at the Cabin

We went to Arlas cabin this weekend for some four wheeling and some family fun! We really had a blast minus the fact we lost our back window and Bri and I got lost on the four wheelers for like an hour...enjoy some pics of our fun weekend!

So funny story...in a sad sort of way! We were unloading the back of the rodeo when we got there and Brian keeps a stick in the window to hold it up and his dad didnt realize it and went to shut it and it shattered. We felt so bad for his dad even though we now have to replace the back window. Yes we were the Po Dunk people driving down Parleys with a black trash bag for a window...

For the 24th we started the holiday off by going to the bountiful parade on the 23rd with Doug, Avery and my aunt Heather and her kids, poor Crystal had to stay home with her cute new baby...Im sure she had fun watching TV! Then on the 24th we went to the Dark Night with Alicia Kyle and Brians little brother Mike. We left little Jenson with Bri's mom...it was the first time we left him with a babysitter...sad but it was fun to go out. Then Alicia and I went and got Avery while Brian and Kyle went and played video games...im not sure why they didnt want to go shopping with us...oh well! Then we spent the rest of the night hanging with Crystal, Doug, Alicia, Kyle, Avery, and Jack. We had a great holiday! Here are some pics from the events...

Sorry it has been so long since an update. Jenson is doing really well...he is getting so big! We weighed him on my grandpas meat scale...I know gross right...but he weighed 10 3/4 pounds and then we measured him and he was 23 inches long! What the heck...he is so big I cant even believe it! So Jenson had his 2 week check up today and it went really well. He weighs 8 lbs 8 ounces and he is 22 inches long. He is is the 35 percentile for weight and 85 for height so he is long and skinny. He is so much fun!!! He is still sleeping really well he only gets up once in the middle of the night to eat and then eats like a pig throughout the day. We are so grateful that he is healthy and growing!

Sorry it took so long to post some more pictures. Having a baby has been so much fun! He has been so good so far. He pretty much only cries when he is hungry or cold. He has been a really good sleeper...he goes to sleep around 11 and wakes every few hours to eat. I think that we have really lucked out on the sleeping end of things. We love this baby so much! We are just so happy and cant get enough of him!

Here is a picture of his tiny skinny legs...he definitely got his daddy's genes...in fact he looks nothing like me or my family...he looks just like a Pettingill.

So Jenson pretty much has his own watch dog. At first our dog was really scared of him but now she is attached to him and anytime someone comes over to look at him she freaks out and starts growling and barking...its pretty funny actually. We are glad that they get along...we were a little worried about that. this is basically where they both lay all day...so cute!

Hi everyone! This is Crystal, Jodee's sister. She wanted me to update her blog and let you all know that Jenson has arrived.

Jenson Brian Pettingill was born this morning, June 1st at around 7am. He weighed 7lbs, 4oz and was 21 inches long. He is sooo cute! Totally bald but he doesn't need the hair! He's way too cute without it! He looks just like a Pettingill (check out that nose!) but I do think there is a bit of Hinckley in there somewhere...just not sure where yet!

Here are some pics I took about 3 hrs after he was born. Jodee will post some better pics when she gets home. I hope she gets some good ones of his baldness! I'm so in love with this little boy!!! Jodee and Brian are over the moon for him! Both mom and baby are tired but doing great! I'll let her tell you all about it! So anyway, here he is! Eat your hearts out...

So I just went to the doctor today and I have good news and bad news...the bad news is that I have high blood pressure...and that leads to the good news...I don't have to work anymore! They would just prefer to induce me but I am not dilated at all so they are holding off until it is absolutely necessary. So for now I have to go into the doctor every other day until I am dilated or until my blood pressure is to high that they would not have a choice but to induce me. So until then I am going to just take it easy. Brian thinks that I am going to get bored but I am pretty sure I wont...It will be a nice little vacation before the baby comes. Well I will keep you updated...

June 1st, 2006

So yesterday Brian and I celebrated our two year anniversary. Its actually not until June 1st but that is the day after our babies due date so we decided to celebrate a little early just in case. We went to The Roof for dinner...it was so good of course! Then we didnt really have any plans after that so we took our dog to the park and played and then we went to Lowes and bought a much needed ceiling fan for our room and then we went home and watched a movie. Sounds like a pretty lame anniversary celebration but we actually had so much fun! Happy Anniversary...its been the best two years of my life! I just thought that I would post a little update on me...I know no pictures yet but I promise soon. I only have a 7 and a half weeks left until little Jenson comes...it is so close yet so far away! So I had a doctors appointment on Wednesday and I have gained 15 pounds the whole time I have been pregnant and my midwife asked me what I have been eating and I was like excuse me and then she said that I need to start watching what I eat and I need to cut out sweets and pointless calories completely...so I was like have you ever been pregnant before? I mean lets be honest! So I was so annoyed that she was saying this to me...I thought that I was doing pretty good for being 32 weeks pregnant...clearly not good enough. So when I left the doctors before I went to work I went to the gas station and bought a donut and a bag of potato chips...and yes it made me feel better! Then the next day I was having some pregnancy issues so I had to go back to the midwife for another checkup and when they weighed me I had lost two pounds...I showed her...haha. Well that is the latest on the pregnancy. I have had one shower so far that my friend Sarah threw for me and I have a family shower on Saturday so as soon as that is over I will post pictures from both showers and let you know how they both went. My friend shower was awesome...it was so fun to see some friends that I hadnt seen in forever! Oh and I will post pictures of our nursery so far...we've painted and got our furniture so it is coming along!

I guess that I should update our blog a little since it has been a while since I posted. I must say I am not very good at this whole blog thing. Everything is basically the same with us. Brian is still in school and working so I never see him but I know that it will be worth it in the end. I am now 29 weeks pregnant! Only 11 more weeks to go! I am feeling huge and honestly cant wait to go on a diet! Things are getting really fun. I am painting our nursery this week and I think that we are going to order the babies furniture this weekend...so everything seems to be coming together! In the next month I have 2 showers so I will post pictures as soon as I have them!

Sorry I haven't posted much lately we have had a pretty crazy life the last few weeks. Brian just started school again full time...man I cant wait until he is done with school...in 4 years...oh man that is so long but it will be well worth it! We just picked out our baby bedding fabric...Brians mom has been kind enough to make the baby's bedding because we just couldnt find anything that we loved so in a week or two when we get the nursery(well what will be the nursery) cleaned out then we will start painting. I am so excited for what our nursery is going to look like...if all goes to plan. I will do some before and after pictures of the nursery when we get everything started. I havent posted any pictures yet because I havent really had any to post but when I do I will start posting some. Good news...we had our ultrasound to make sure that the baby looks good and the doctor said that he looks great! It was really fun to see him again. It looks like his cheeks are pretty chubby...I have only gained 2 pounds in this pregnancy and I think that it is mostly in his cheeks...how cute...I am excited to see him! Only 129 days to go! hopefully it goes by fast!

So today I just found out that my sister is going to have a boy!!! I am so excited that we are both having boys! I also just started to feel the baby move...it is so weird but so cool! I was just laying in bed on Tuesday and sure enough he started moving and I have been able to feel him every couple of hours since then...it is so fun! I am excited to start posting pictures of baby things like our nursey and such when we get everything going. I will start posting pictures soon! Happy New Year...I know this year will be a great!
